Where in the World is Susan?

Why I am location independent

Wings give freedom. Freedom is happiness. Like a bird, I choose to fly frequently. The world is too big; there are many places to be discovered. Staying in just one place is extremely boring. I choose to move around. It can be following my favourite season: Autumn, or going to a favourite place for Afternoon Tea in England, or discovering a new town or a small village and had never heard of before. Seeing each place where I stay as a local gives me a wider perspective of the world, the people who live in it, and the different cultures. There is always something exciting and new at the end of a new road. I only call home the place where I sleep.

Perspective

“The gull sees farthest who flies highest.”

- Richard Bach (Jonathan Livingston Seagull)

Where in the world I have been, where I am now, and where I will be next. An account of some of my favourite places in the world, or some which have inspired me to write something about them. Since I am location independent, I am extremely lucky to travel as much as I want, whenever I want, packing my mobile office and setting my work space in any city in the world I choose to visit. Sharing my observations and experiences can give virtual wings to others, perhaps inspire some to take off. I hope you will enjoy this section as much I have enjoyed the journey. -Susan
